    If you’re ever unhappy with an area we cleaned, we’ll return the next day and reclean it.
  • Who will be cleaning my home?
    A team of professional housecleaners, trained and employed by The Cleaning Authority, will clean your home. All of our employees are uniformed, fully insured, and bonded. They will not eat, drink, smoke, or operate any appliances while inside your home.
  • How do I schedule an appointment with you?

They would be more than happy to provide you with a free phone estimate and schedule your appointment to meet with a local office owner or manager.   • Do I need to provide house cleaning supplies?
    You may provide our cleaners with the house cleaning supplies you usually used. However, we will also be bringing our own cleaning supplies. Please let out cleaner knows upon arrival.
  • What should I do with my pets during the cleaning?
    If you have pets, we ask that you prevent them from entering the areas that we clean. For sanitary and safety reasons, our teams of residential cleaning professionals are not permitted to clean flea infested homes or pick up animal excrement.
  • Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
    Absolutely not. In fact, most of our customers prefer not to be home when we clean!

  • How do I pay for my home cleaning?
    Payment is due the day of each scheduled clean. Most of our customers simply leave a check on the kitchen counter or pay by major credit card (credit cards accepted at participating locations only). Please contact your local office for details.
  • Will I always have the same people cleaning my home?
    We do our best to have the same two professional house cleaners in your home every time we clean. However, sometimes due to vacations, illness, or cleans being rescheduled we will have to send a different cleaner or team instead. Our primary goal is to provide a consistent clean no matter who cleans your home.
  • What happens if something breaks?
    Unfortunately, sometimes in the cleaning process items may be broken. If this occurs, the cleaning team will leave a note with the item to let you know. The office will work with you to find a suitable resolution.
  • Why should I hire you over an independent home cleaner?
    There are many benefits to hiring a company rather than an independent cleaning provider. Our employees are all bonded, insured, and background checked to ensure the safety of you and your home. Our employees will always bring their own cleaning supplies, which saves you money. Flexihelpers has a satisfaction guarantee. Our staff of trained inspectors will direct our house cleaner’s efforts to consistently deliver quality outcomes.
  • How do you ensure the security of my home?
    Most customers provide a key or digital (garage) code to enter the home. Keys are assigned to a numbered tag without customer name or address. Keys are locked in a lock box and codes are kept private and only given to the house cleaners the day of the clean. Our employees are thoroughly screened before starting work with us. They also use technology to check in and out of each clean so we know the exact times they were in your home.
  • Will you come on the same day and time for each clean?
    While we can commit to a specific day, there are many factors throughout the day that may affect our actual arrival time. If you desire an estimated time of arrival on the day of your clean, please call us, and we’ll be glad to oblige.
  • What is mildew and how can I get rid of it?
    Mildew is a type of fungus that can be found growing on a multitude of surfaces where moisture and temperature levels are high. Mildew can typically be identified by its color (pinkish-orange to black). Most mildews are caused by an overgrowth of mold. Our professional housecleaners will be able to impede the growth of mildew by removing the built up food sources that it lives on, such as soap, skin, hair and etc. However, as long as humidity is present, mildew will grow in the area. To stop the growth of mildew, the area must be kept dry or in many cases, it must be chemically treated. Chlorine bleach is a good sanitizer to use on an infected area. To reduce the pungent odor of the bleach, dilute it up to 50% with water. The most practical application method would be to lightly spray the mildew affected area. It is not necessary to apply bleach to uninfected areas. Leave the bleach in contact with the surface area for at least an hour. Rinse any area that you will touch in later use. Repeat the application on a bi-weekly basis or when mildew reappears. While chlorine bleach is not a green chemical, it must be used in some severe cases when you or your family’s health is at risk. Because this product is not green, we do not carry it, but you can find it easily in your grocery store.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment, at least 48 business hours' notice (excluding weekends) is required. We must adhere strictly to this policy in order to prevent lost wages for your cleaner.

If a cleaning appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, or if the cleaner is unable to enter the house, a cancellation fee of 50% of that cleaning's cost will be charged.

 

If an open ended (hourly) cleaning is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of $75.00 will be charged.

If a cleaning is rescheduled by the client less than 48 hours in advance, rather than cancelled, a fee of $25.00 will be charged.
